Sacramento authorities are probing a shooting incident that unfolded on April 18 2026 at Howe Community Park in the Arden-Arcade area at the moment Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies were shutting down a large unsanctioned party of hundreds of attendees.
Prior to the Shooting
Deputies were first called to the Arden-Arcade park around 6:30 Saturday evening after receiving reports of individuals possibly carrying concealed weapons. Shortly after, a second caller reported about a possible physical fight unfolding near the park.

Detainees in Solano County
Information obtained through law enforcement radio communications confirmed that a vehicle identified as a Kia was pulled over in the Solano County area. Four occupants were held for questioning. Sacramento law enforcement were traveling to Solano County to transport the detainees for formal questioning. Video evidence made clear that two individuals had fired weapons.
