Violence at Howe Community Park Wounds 4 Shot in Sacramento County's Arden-Arcade Neighborhood

Sacramento authorities are probing a shooting incident that unfolded on April 18 2026 at Howe Community Park in the Arden-Arcade area at the moment Sacramento County Sheriff's deputies were shutting down a large unsanctioned party of hundreds of attendees.

Prior to the Shooting

Information obtained through law enforcement radio communications confirmed that a vehicle identified as a Kia was pulled over in the Solano County area. Four occupants were held for questioning. Sacramento law enforcement were traveling to Solano County to transport the detainees for formal questioning. Video evidence made clear that two individuals had fired weapons.
